Part of your tournament entry fee is already being donated to Komen, in addition each participating club is being asked to raise additional funds for the cause. We would like to have all players and coaches participate in this as well. We have power in numbers to make a difference. You can click on the below link and see how the donation process works. In addition, you should send the link to family and friends who will donate in your name. Please tell them what team you play for and to include your name as the players' name. For instance, Jane Smith, plays on the South Jersey Select 2009 Pink team.

About Lax For The Cure™:
Lax For The Cure™ was the idea of Jessica Shoulberg, Mendham High School Coach and director of STEPS Lacrosse. During the summer of 2007 The STEPS Lacrosse club had 4 mothers fighting breast cancer. Jessica's concept came from the notion that with the growth of girls lacrosse and summer tournament circuit, that an opportunity presented itself to start a tournament that would meet the ideals of players, parents, clubs, and college coaches. The goal was to ultimately find a way to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer within the girls lacrosse community.
In addition to playing in the tournament, all teams are being asked to raise additional funds for the fight against breast cancer. This initiative is completely optional. 100% of funds raised will go directly to Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
